Principal's Message

August 2021

Dear Families,

As the principal of Warrenton Middle School, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone back for another great year! This past year had many challenges and we have been working diligently to prepare for the upcoming year. It is our goal to help every child feel welcomed, connected and part of the Warrenton family in a safe environment. Safety is, and will be, our number one priority as we begin next school year.

With the completion and opening of a brand new building, this year provides us with a once in a lifetime opportunity.  The new building is stunning and provides us with much needed space for our ever increasing district.  This completion, and opening, of the new building is testament to the support of you and the community of Warrenton.

Our great teachers have been eagerly awaiting our students’ return and building completion. They have spent considerable time planning and creating classroom activities to engage students in learning. Our teachers utilize research-based best practices and analyze academic data to determine current skill levels to set goals for growth and improvement. We believe that all students should promote from middle school prepared for the demands of high school and beyond.

As the new school year gets underway, we are excited to be here to support the students of the Warrenton community. Middle school can be a challenging time for parents, and students. This is especially true when there is increased uncertainty. During this stage of development, each child may react differently to the changes or challenges they are experiencing. Having a supportive environment both at home and at school can soften what can sometimes be a trying time. Please know that we are here to help so do not hesitate to reach out.

The entire staff at Warrenton Middle School is excited to start another school year and we eagerly await the arrival of students.

Sincerely,

Josh Jannusch

 Principal
