Warrenton Middle School will be holding IN-PERSON STUDENT-LED conferences Wednesday, October 6th (5:00-8:00), and Thursday, September 7th (1:00-4:00 and 5:00-8:00). Conferences are held in your student’s Advisory classroom. Teachers will also be avaiable for drop in appointments, or Zoom appointment, if there are specific teachers that families want to meet with. These conferences will provide an opportunity for your student to reflect upon his/her successes so far this year. We emphasize that these are student-led conferences, and the teachers will be attending as observers, but not as active participants. There will, however, be opportunity to talk with teachers immediately after the student-led conference.
We view this as an extremely positive opportunity for students to emphasize their strengths, acknowledge their weaknesses, and, with you in attendance, plan for their approach to this school year.
