What Does It Mean to Be a Warrior?

W - Work

A - Adapt

R - Respect

R - Resilient

I - Inclusive

O - Opportunistic

R - Responsible

As Warriors, we put in the work on and off the court. We strive for a common goal, put in the hours needed and are inclusive of all teammates. We adapt to any given situation and never quit. We respect others' differences and backgrounds and are always respectful of ourselves. In hard times and in times of adversity, we remain resilient and come together to include others to help us on our journey. As Warriors, we remain opportunistic, striving for greatness and being the best versions of ourselves. We remain responsible for our own actions, and always do the right thing even when no one is looking.

Athlete Expectations
All student-athletes are expected to follow The Warrior Way. They get it done in the classroom before stepping foot on the court. Active Basketball Student-Athletes are required to maintain a 2.50 GPA. As a team, a 3.0 team GPA or higher will be expected. Basketball is a privilege, not a right. Student-athletes failing to maintain a 2.50 GPA, can expect loss of playing time. Student-Athletes are required to maintain the highest form of respect to and from contests. Verbal and/or physical assault of any kind will not be tolerated on or off the court. "Please" and "Thank You" are expected to those helping us along the way. During bus rides, we are clean, disciplined, and respectful to the bus driver and their bus. During away contests, Student-Athletes are not allowed to leave the gym unless given permission by a coach. Student-Athletes who are seized with any drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or any other illegal substances will face immediate removal from the team along with In-School/Out-of-School Suspensions (ISS/OSS). Student-Athletes who fail to follow these guidelines can expect extra conditioning, verbal warnings, ISS/OSS, or removal from the team if necessary. Student-Athletes will be expected to follow OSAA guidelines. See link below.
